Welcome, baby

I decided to play BINGO over at Barbs card creations and here is my first entry in the challenge!

I bought this set, ‘welcome, little one’ after I had just had my youngest baby thinking I would hold onto it for that one day I might need to use it for another baby. That day isnt here, but that doesnt mean I cant practice making cards!

Instructions:

1. Starting with a piece of mellow moss cut and folded to standard card size I stamped the floral background image in mellow moss ink, and the dragged a sponge in mellow moss ink around the edges.
2. Next I cut a piece of almost amethyst at 4 1/2 wide and then lay it ontop of the mellow moss. I used a ruler and drew lines where I wanted it to be cut at and then used the paper cutter to make it so.
3. I then used my signo gel pen and made a stitch around the edge of it and then adhered it to the mellow moss cardstock. Then I used my cropadile and attatched mellow moss eyelets to the two right hand corners.
4. Then I cut a piece of white cardstock at 2 x 3 and stamped the baby in stazon black.  Using blender pens and watercolor wonder crayons I colored in the image, and then sponged the edges in mellow moss.
5. After that I cut a piece of barely banana to 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 and then crumpled it in my hands, used a file to soften the edge more and then randomly dragged it onto the barely banana ink pad to give it a baby blanket ‘quilty’ feeling.
6. I glued those two layers together then put silver brads through both layers and used a stampin dimensional to put it on the cardfront.
7. Using my oval coluzzle I cut out two of the smallest ovals and then folded them in half and glued them to the top and bottom of the left hand side of the card. I then glued two small mellow moss buttons onto the yellow ovals.
8. Finally I stamped the baby bracelet image in stazon black and colored that in with blender pens and watercolor wonder crayons. I attatched it right under the baby image and then once in place I used crystal stickles to put a little dab of glitter on each of the beads of the bracelet.
