Simple dimple

August 9th, 2007

I guess dimples are simple, your born with them. But this card is a quick and simple one, to get that BINGO card moving!!! Barb’s bingo is going strong and Im far from winning round #2, but I thought I would add to the cause. So here we go:

Simple dimple

Instructions:

1. Starting with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of chocolate chip, folded in half.

2. Then I cut a piece of the chocolate chip DP 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 and then lay it on top of the card. I took a ruler and drew lines where to cut, then placed it in my paper trimmer and cut away the excess.

3. I wrapped a piece of wide chocolate ribbon around the left side and added 4 pieces of chocolate and white ribbon to the top, then glued 2 paper flowers on top of the ribbon.

4. On white CS cut to 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 I stamped the multi flower image from “Friends like flowers” in stazon black and colored it in with my SU markers. Then I stamped the buzzy bee in stazon above the flowers and colored that in.

5. Then I cut a piece of ruby red CS 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and glued the two layers together.

6. Finally I mounted the layered image to the card base with a stampin dimensional.

VOILA~ super simple, super easy. GO BINGO GO!!!

The DEETS:

Stamps: Friends like flowers-SU
Ink: Stazon black
CS: Chocolate chip, ruby red, white, chocolate chip DP-SU
Accessories: chocolate ribbon, white ribbon, markers (ruby red, old olive, taken with teal, summer sun) stampin dimensionals.

Great card, Elizabeth and what a way to kick start Round 2. Those colours are fantastic and the ribbon & flowers are ‘to-die-for’.

I recognize Au Chocolat DP..one of my favorites. Nice coloring on the pretty stamped image. Thanks for making a card for an extra bingo number!
