Hip, hip, hooray!
Tonight I had too many things going on in my head while in the craft room. I had a new, big tv upstairs calling my name. Im working on my Holiday swap cards, which will be done tomorrow. My craft room is a mess. I just got my new table in the craft room for jewelry making. I just got all my glass soldering supplies and Im itching away to make something. Plus Im just exhausted, mentally and physically. It’s only been a week with my new crazy schedule and Im not used to running here and there every single day.
So with all of that on my brain plus my complete lack of embellishment supplies I probably shouldnt have made a card. But when Beate has a sketch challenge and I havent made one by Sunday I feel like a kid with homework that’s going to be late. I love doing her challenges because she has such awesome sketches that really help to teach me to think outside my comfort zone.
Here is Senor crabby pants:
For those who would like to know how he was created here are some details:
1. I started with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 piece of whisper white.
2. Next I cut a piece of DP from my stash of ‘the slab’ at 4 x 5 and adhered it to the base.
3. I cut a 2 x 3 piece of only orange and then sponged around the edges in pumpkin pie.
4. Then I stamped the crab and cake in stazon black ink and then colord them in with my SU markers, pumpkin pie and really rust for the crab. Then bordering blue, real red and summer sun for the cake. I also used my sakura quickie glue pen to dab little dots on the cake and then on the flame of the candle. Then I added some dazzling diamonds glitter to the glue.
And then I cut out them out with my paper snips.
5. For the sentiment I stamped it on stazon black then cut it out with the circle coluzzle and sponged the edges in pumpkin pie.
6. Finally I adhered all the pieces to the cardfront.
The Deets:
CS: Whisper white, only orange-SU, designer paper from ‘the slab 4′
Ink: stazon black, marvelous markers; pumpkin pie, really rust, bordering blue, real red, summer sun.

I hope you are refreshed and all better this morning. I had to smile when you said you felt you were late on homework. You still have until Wednesday! It’s all good.
Love the card though. Made me smile as well.
