A stamp set that’s all heart!
Over the last week I’ve been making cards with Gina K’s stamp set “Love you to pieces” and it was all leading up to this………..A FREE UNMOUNTED SET!!!!!
For whatever reason, autism is a cause that is dear to me. I dont know anyone personally who is autistic, but as a mother it’s a cause I want to support. And I was so thrilled when I saw that Gina K had a set that donated so generously to the autism speaks organization.
I basically want this stamp set to be a virus in the stamping community! I want everybody to want it and use it and help spread awareness of this epidemic. I know for me, once I got the stamp set trimmed the ideas started flowing and I was even more happy with how versatile this set is.
Again here is a reminder of some of the statistics:
And what is the giveaway you ask? It’s an unmounted set of “Love you to pieces” it is red rubber with a backing of cling cushion ready to use with acryllic blocks. And for some extra fun to spark your creativity there is a handful of prima flowers in various pinks and greens and 3 different pink ribbons.
This giveaway is open to EVERYBODY, in any country! To enter, simply leave a reply to this post, one entry per person please and tell me what you will plan to do with the set if you win. Maybe you’ll use it to make cards for families of children who have autism and give them to an organization, maybe you’ll use them for Valentine’s cards or maybe you’ll make anniversary cards. The give away is open til next Tuesday, October 9, 2007 until 11:59 pm PST. I will draw a winner using random.org on Wednesday October 10.
I hope you are all excited to win the set and use it. And if you dont win then I hope you are inspired to help support the autism speaks org. and purchase it yourself!
Good luck!

I have lots of people in my life I’d like to pass on some extra love to. Plus, a friend’s son is in Iraq and I try to send him cards on a regular basis. I know he enjoys the love I send, but I think he’d also see the irony of the puzzle pieces. Thanks for letting me play.
What a kind hearted way to get attention to the cause of autism. My good friend’s nephew has autism
and what they call “fragile X” syndrome runs in their family. My mom teaches autistic children.
I think I would use the set to make items to sell so that I could raise money and awareness to the cause.
I am buying this set. It’s beautiful!

As I read your post, I realized how much Autism has touched my life this past year. I enjoy working out at our local YMCA, and one of our spinning instructors has an autisitc son. I also have a close friend whose son was recently diagnosed. To top that off, both of my children have autistic children in their classes. I teach 1st grade, and this year I do not have any autistic children, but 2 years ago I had a child who had Ausburgers, which is a form of autism. Anyway, I would use the set to make note cards and mention how much autism has touched my life in the past year.
Thanks for the great idea, and for making me realize how blessed I truly am!
Melanie
I just found your blog this morning. Your giveaway is generous, but the support you lend to autism is even more appreciated. We really need to do more research on this devastating condition that affects so many precious children. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your beautiful cards!
The set is adorable - I have lots of grandchildren and they are getting to the “puzzle” age so I would use this set for them - Happy Friday - great blog! God bless-
