Busy as a bee…..
That’s me! I have been so busy these past few days getting ready for different stamp releases and working on projects, just buzz, buzz, buzzing along! My very special project will be ready tomorrow featuring the ‘Hip hop accessories’ from Gina K…….SO excited to have it finished! But tonight I have 2 cards to share featuring an upcoming release from Treehouse stamps called “Home Grown”:
What’s the buzz? Such a cute little bee and flower! I just had to give the bee some sparkly wings and a little trail of sparkle dust, like magic pollen! This reminds me of my friend Bee, I might have to surprise her with a card sometime using this set!
This set has a primitive feel to it, for me at least, lol! So when I started to watercolor this bird I decided I wanted it to look like a rustic painting you might find in an old abandoned Oklahoma farm house, where everything is weathered and dusty. The ‘Honey Pie’ cosmo cricket paper came in handy with this sheet of cross stitch pattern paper.
And now I am off to watch ‘Gossip Girl’, I’m so glad it is back! Happy Monday!

Hehe, you make me laugh!
I only have one stamp with a bee that I used for my banner picture and it’s huge, but I sign all my cards on the back by inking the tiny bee that flies over Fluffles bouquet… 
the other day I discovered a stamp company I don’t know (and I already forgot the name), they have a new beehive & bee set that’s super cute!…
Can’t wait to see your hip-hop project, I’m sure it’s gonna be fab! I ordered hip-hop also, and I had to order just so hoppy to have the mama kangaroo so I can put this baby in the pocket he belongs to! :-D….
You did an awesome job with these! I love the “sunset” behind the second one! I haven’t gotten to play with these yet…..
