Time to do the bloggers challenge!

May 2nd, 2008

So this weeks challenge was a graduation card which is SO VERY HARD for me! My girls are 2 and 4, so nowhere near graduating anything right now, lol. I have never bought a graduation type stamp or anything! Sooooo, here’s what I came up with:

wise-owl

I used the owl from Inkadinkado’s ‘Birds Galore’ set which I got from Jacksonbelle’s and paired it with the basic grey boxer paper. I didn’t find any sentiment that would work for a graduation theme so I printed out the sentiment from my computer. To make the little owl’s cap I cut a 1/2 inch square and topped it with a brad and some hemp! Pretty simple but it just has to do…….I wasn’t buying a special stamp for this one challenge!

Tomorrow is national scrapbooking day and Jacksonbelle is having a sale, 15% off your order! Here is a link to the thread where you can get the code, it’s good Friday through Saturday…..hooray!! And if you’ve never shopped with her before you’re in for a treat because this gal is one fast shipper! I place an order and in a couple of hours I always get the notice it’s on it’s way. I’m starting to wonder if she ever sleeps, lol!!!!

Have a wonderful Friday night! I FINALLY get to pick up my desk tomorrow and finish off my office and take pictures…..what a loooooooong process this has been!
