Pretty little box

May 31st, 2008

This is one of the items I have been working on this week, a pretty little box:

I used the ‘Tea time Patten” from Unity stamps in chocolate ink on aqua mist CS and covered chipboard. The base and lid are 5×7 and the sides are 2 1/2 tall.  The lid has 3 layers of chocolate, aqua and chocolate taffeta ribbons, MAMBI rhinestones and pearls. I also stamped the background pattern in distress ink and aqua ink on the main panel before I stamped the quote. I wanted the inside to be finished looking so I covered the opposite sides with cream card stock.

This was just so fun to create, I LOVE that background stamp and quote. I hope you enjoyed the peek at some of what I’ve been doing this week. I have a lot more to share so I’ll be back soon!

Details:

Stamps: Tea time pattern and becoming a butterfly- Unity stamps
CS: PTI white & aquamist, cream
Ink: chocolate, antique linene, aqua mist
Accessories: Pretties kit, sewing machine, distress tool, sponge, glitter, ribbon
