Jacksonbelle Tuesday…….free for all!
A free for all…..any and all of your Jacksonbelle products together on one card. So here is what I came up with. ‘Sugared’ BG, prima corner stamps, Inkadinkado sentiment, dew drops, stickles. (and a bit of non-JBelle stuff as well)

I have a friend who is due witha girl in August, so I think this is going to go to her.
Sean and I went to a wedding this weekend and it was actually nice! I saw that because the thought of going to most weddings makes me cringe, but this was different. They had their own vows which actually didn’t sound cheesey, but they sounded sincere. And there were so many people to see and catch up with that the night flew by. Then Sunday I woke up with a migraine……..so there ya go. It totally made me feel like I have been out of the swing of things for months.
I have the CUTEST Sara K to share with you tomorrow! Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Jacksonbelle Challenge Tuesday……
This week we were given a partner and we each went into their galleries and looked around. My partner is Broni, dirty girl extraordinare! Just take a look at her fabulous gallery HERE. Ihad so much to look at and choose from I could have just spent a couple days looking at her gorgeous creations.
After touring her gallery I decided to CASE THIS card. I decided I wanted to keep the bird, branch and monochromatic feel to the card. So off I went to my craft room and whipped up my card:
It’s a sage base but the rest of the paper is from the Honey Pie Cosmo crickett pack, including the blackboard berry branch. The edges were all sponged in cranberry ink and the bird was highlighted with a sakura pen and white ink pen. Then I used twinkling watercolors to paint on the branch and around the bird. Finishing it off is of course some primas and dew drops!
I received some fun news today, that 2 of my cards were picked up for publicaiton! I was so excited about which one’s they were too, both MFT and Cosmo Crickett!!!!!! Plus I got an order of Bella’s that I’ve been waiting for.
Be sure to check out the other DT’s to see who they CASE and what they’ve come up with!

Jacksonbelle Challenge Tuesday……a sketch!
I was really fortunate today because I had a lot of time to create. I had to take my oldest, Ava to the Dr. for a follow-up appointment in the morning. (It didn’t go as well as I’d hoped, mainly just issues with her Dr., so we are looking for a new one) And later in the day I had an appointment, so Sean stayed home today while I was out with Ava so he could be here for the therapists and Audrey. Between the appointments I got a couple cards done, including the Jacksonbelle challenge card!
Now I usually take some kind of liberty with a sketch, and this is definately no exception. But I am surprised how many of the elements are represented, even if they are moved a little.
I have a couple packs of those SU sticky cuts letters and shapes and decided I should finally play with them. It was interesting, not bad and not quick. I was ever so thankful for the glitter cloth that I got from scor-pal, seriously picks up all that glitter.
Be sure to check out all the other DT’s blogs for some more inpiration on this great sketch!
I’ll definately have a few cards to show tomorrow and Wednesday. Thursday I am hosting the Unity Stamps project of the week, so prepare to have some fun!
I hope everyone had a great start to their week!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday- color challenge!
I have a lot to post today and I’m super late doing it so these will all be short and sweet. This weeks challenge was a red, black and bashful blue color challenge. They are great colors but I cheated a bit with the black and swapped basic grey CS as the base. You all know by now how hard rules are for me to follow! Oh and I finally used my little corner stamps on this.
Be sure to check out all the other DT’s blogs for great inspiration! And Lindsey has the C-U-T-E-S-T line in right now from October Afternoon…….go check out the super cute stamps and papers! I’ll be back soon with some more fun stuff!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday………free for all!
Wooohooo! It’s Tuesday so you know that means the Jacksonbelle DT girls get together for a challenge. This week it was easy……anything you want! So I decided to use some of the last of my favorite pieces of cosmo cricket on this, and some primas that I had been eyeing but not using.
There’s some sewing, lots of sponging, some spica pens, dew drops and lots and lots of primas. This bird set just gets me everytime, I love it.

Introducing Chloe Marie……and some breaking news!
It’s Tuesday Jacksonbelle challenge time again, and this week I would like to introduce you to a sweet little gal named Chloe Marie:
Chloe Marie is a new line of paper, chipboard elements and rub on’s from Daisy D. It is so seriously sweet! I decided to use my Patterned BugsInka set to go with this as well as the chelsea sentiments set. I stamped the long butterfly trail in bayou ink onto the chloe marie. The sentiment is stamped in basic grey ink and the ladybugs from the patterned bugs set in purely pom ink. I added shading around the ladybugs with a stardust pen, then highlighted the flowers with a white pen and used a silver copic spica on the head and antennae. Sewing, distressing and paper piercing were added and then the wee, littlest buttons you have ever seen were added. Primaswith more buttons and then white ric rac may arts ribbon with some paper piercing on either side.

- And now onto some extra EXCITING news!!!!! you may remember these cards
Well I had wandered over to the Stampavie website to see if I was missing out on new items. And I see a banner for DT submission.I believe this was 3 days before it ended, so I was cutting it close. I had such a hard mix of emotions about this because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the styles of these stamps. They make me happy in a way few stamps do.But I realized that these stamps had a strong following in Europe and would have a lot of peopel submitting their work. I know that when I submit to a magazine or even a DT call that it’s possible submissions are given from all over the world. But this was definately going to be open to a lot more people then I could imagine. And I almost didn’t want to put myself up for rejection. But 2 days before the deadline I sent it in and have been waiting for 9 days until this morning…….

Isabelle Norris (UK)
Jay Jay (Germany)
Kine Saatvedt (Norway)
Lenaik Duluc (France)
Michelle Oatman (USA)
Sandrine Vachon (France)
Sue Nelson (USA)
My name is on the list but I removed it because I wanted to give you the links to all the fabulous ladies! It has been an AMAZING month for myself and I can say that this was the most stressful DT call I have ever participated in. And simply because it was international and I had no idea what style they were looking for since this is their first DT call and team. I am amazed and want to pinch myself because I am a part of such talented ladies. Thank you for allowing me to gush about my excitement!!! I was jumping up and down in my pajamas this morning when I saw my name!
And now I’m off to watch my trusty “Golden Girls” I love them!
Some things are moving around on my blog, I need a better system for linking everyone and keeping it tidy.So far this summer is turning out fantastic for me, unfortch I can’t tell you just yet. But wait because things are really ONLY getting better! It’s been a very VERY good week.
Filed under Exciting!!!!, Inkadinkado, Jacksonbelle challenges, Stampavie, sewing | Comments (20)Jacksonbelle Tuesday…..orange, brown & green
This weeks challenge did me in, I saw the word ORANGE and GREEN and panicked. Then there was a lot of talk about green galore and adding some less than stellar colors to the mix and my mind couldn’t get off the idea of BRIGHT. So when I set out to make my first card I was trying to do the orange very subtely.
There is a panel of mellow moss behind the bird cage and my orange is the collage primas. This is such a QUICK card, that stamp is just perfect for quick and beautiful cards. I LOVE it! And the collage primas are just too cool. I used the Hampton Crate Paper collection for this one and the Chelsea Sentiments set from Inkadinkado as well.
But when I made this card I felt like it was REALLY cheating so I thought I would make another one. But this one is kind of a cheat too, so I don’t know if I redeemed myself with this one:
See? His shirt is BRIGHT orange, lots of GREEN grass! And you can’t miss all that brown! Again I used the Hampton paper collection from Crate Paper.
Both of these cards are going in a gift set for my trainer. I want to give her a good variety of cards and I know she likes big dogs, so I thought of her when I saw this set. I will show you the gift box and cards tomorrow.
And now you can check out the fabulous creations from the other DT members who have made great samples with these colors!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday; Prima sketch
Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday!!! That means another Jacksonbelle Challenge, this week a sketch brought to us by Lynda! Lindsey has been getting all sorts of YUMMY Prima products in and this is the time to use them. I decided to use my ‘Tea and Silk’ collection again, which matches so well with the PTI sweet blush.
My camera ran out of batteries and this is the shot I got right before it died, lol. I used a lot of spica pens on the dragon to make him nice and shimmery! This Lizzie Anne set “Once upon a time” is so cute, there are just too many possibilities with it.
Again I am posting this before I have all the links to the other DT members, so check out Lindsey’s blog until I can come back and update. This might be late because I have 3 appointments tomorow before we are at the UW for a couple hours. If you play along then be sure to leave me a link, and if you upload to SCS then use JBE004 so we can all see it!

Jacksonbell Tuesday……..
This week our challenge was to use items that are uninked. You know the one’s…..you had to have them, but then they got pushed aside. Well today is the day we are using them, and so should you!
I decided to use my LAD set Once upon a time. I bought it because it was so cute but it’s been close to a month since I’ve had it…….SHAME ON ME!!! I was inspired by the scroll announcement that frames the invitation and I wanted to mimic that on my card:
I used 2 hat pins with pearls and crystals so I could get the lengeth and ballance that I wanted. And then everything else is pretty straight forward. I don’t think that if you were mass producing these for a party that it would be bad at all, maybe more work then some like to do but I always over do everything anyway.
Be sure to check out all the other DT’s blogs and see what they’ve come up with!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday……a basic frame
I hope everyone has had a great Monday and start to your week! I ended up without any appointments today, which is a rare thing and played all day at home. Ava and I painted with my watercolors and stamps this afternoon and she just had so much fun.
This week’s Jacksonbelle’s challenge was to use Basic Grey. So I made a desk picture frame with Sugared paper and the Grow a Garden stamp set.
I’m probably breaking some kind of alterable rule about posting a frame without pictures but I don’t know which photo’s to put in. Or really, who I’m giving it to may want to put different pictures on it then I would. Each side is 5 inches wide and 6 inches tall and the back side is finished with a coordinating paper and similar scallop edge. It’s a great desk size and will allow a lot of different sized pictures.
I stamped the butterflies in tea stain ink and a flower bunch in antique linen on top of them for depth. Added to it are some felt flowers, buttons and a few rhinestones. The metal rings that connect both pieces are very sturdy and the frames stand nicely on their own, I almost wish I worked at an office so I could have one…….almost.
Be sure to check out the other design team’s blogs for their take on the challenge, you can find them below! Oh and while you are peeking around, take a look at Jacksonbelle at the over 100 new Inkadinkado stamps!!!
